Strawberry Orange Spinach Salad

• Ingredients:
• 2 bunches fresh baby spinach
• 1 quart fresh strawberries
• 3 oranges, peeled and cut into segments or 1 large can of mandarin oranges, drained

• Dressing:
• 1/3 Cup sugar
• 2 Tablespoons sesame seeds
• 1 Tablespoon poppy seeds
• 1 Tablespoon fresh onion, finely chopped
• 1/2 Teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
• 1/2 Cup oil
• 1 1/4 Cups salad vinegar

Method:

Wash and clean spinach and strawberries. Prepare oranges if using fresh ones. Slice berries. Store all 3 ingredients in refrigerator, all in separate covered dishes. Do not combine until ready to serve.

Dressing: Combine all dressing ingredients in blender, except vinegar and oil. Blend well. Gradually add oil and vinegar and blend well. Refrigerate dressing mixture for at least an hour.

Arrange torn spinach leaves and fruit on individual serving dishes. Pass dressing in a gravy boat or small pitcher. This Strawberry Orange Spinach Salad serves 4
