Spinach and Sausage Quiche

  • Ingredients:
  • Prepared pastry for quiche shell
  • 8 ounces sausage (bulk style)
  • 5 hard boiled eggs,peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup (4 ounces) Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup (4 ounces) Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 3 eggs, well-beaten
  • 1 1/3 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Dash of ground black pepper

Method:

Bake pie shell for 8 minutes at 400 degrees F.

In a skillet, brown and thoroughly cook sausage; drain well.

Sprinkle the hard-boiled eggs in the bottom of the pie shell. Top with sausage and cheeses.

In a small bowl, beat the eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Pour over pie.

Bake in a 375 degree oven for 30-35 minutes or until set.

Let your Spinach and Sausage Quiche stand about 10 minutes before cutting.
