Sausage Spinach RollsReturn to Spinach Recipes Index
Method: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F Thaw dough and cut in half. Thaw and drain spinach and squeeze out excess water. In a large skillet, lightly brown sausage with garlic, stirring with a fork to keep the crumbles small. When fully cooked and no longer pink, drain fat off. Add the spinach and cheese, stir and set aside. Roll the bread dough into 2 separate rectangles about 1/4-1/2 inch thick. Divide filling and spread on top of each. Roll up like a jelly roll, tucking in the ends. Let raise on a greased cookie sheet for about 30 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 20-25 minutes or until brown. Slice and enjoy your Sausage Spinach Rolls! |
